According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), every year in the United States " Nearly 200,000 women are estimated to be diagnosed with a cervical pre-cancer, or abnormal cells on the cervix that can lead to cancer. HPV doesn't only affect women. Over 14,000 men get cancers caused from HPV, and most of them in their late teens and early 20s."
Therefore, it is essential to talk about HPV, its risks, and how it has affected both men and women in recent years. And on August 8th, 11 AM ET, AWFH operated the workshop to educate youth people about this issue.
