Lunch & Learn: Intimate Partner & Domestic Violence in Context of COVID-19
Our Intimate Partner & Domestic Violence workshop led to an engaging and eye-opening discussion surrounding the sensitive topic of recognizing domestic violence and traversing challenging dynamics. The safe space allowed the audience to gain insights to support strategies and resources during these unprecedented times. We teamed up again with Anise Health and had insightful conversations led by, Jennifer Oh, who uses evidence based interventions such as EDMR and DECT to create spaces for individuals to work towards health and growth. Our Postpartum depression and Maternal Health workshop engaged a very inquisitive audience who learnt a lot about this largely unspoken issue, particularly within the Asian community. The audience were asked questions regarding the challenges they've faced especially to those who gave birth during the Pandemic. Our expert specialists Esther Park and Christina DeJesus, who have worked in the field to provide quality postnatal care and expanded on the solutions to bridge accessible mental, physical and emotional health for all new mothers!
