PROGRAM COORDINATOR — Workforce Development
- The Program Coordinator works with the Program Manager and organizational leadership to
provide specific work to a program and ensure that the work is done timely and within the
budget. These activities can include planning of, coordination of and participation in outreach
events, direct interviewing and engagement with the communities we serve and coordination of
various other activities that are defined in the program documentation and by the Program
Manager.
- Currently, we are seeking a Program Coordinator for our Workforce Development program that
recruits, trains and places diverse and underrepresented students to work as Community Health
Workers. This program helps provide equitable representation of minority and
underrepresented groups of people, including Asians, women, immigrants and people of color.
Some of the activities include recruiting students to new cohorts, ensuring all participants have
access to social support services during and after the job training program and placement work
interacting with potential employers, assisting with resume creation and practicing interviews.
The ultimate goal of the program is to recruit, train and place these students in jobs.

PROGRAM MANAGER — Health Equity Research
- The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing specific programs at Asian Women for
Health. This person acts as the project manager, ensuring all activities for the program are
planned, coordinated and executed. Often times, a Program Coordinator works to support the
Program Manager on larger programs. The Program Manager is responsible for tracking costs
and activities related to the program and reporting them to the funders and other key
stakeholders. The Program Manager works at the direction of the Executive Director and other
organizational leadership.
- Currently, we are seeking a Program Manager to take the lead on at least one key research
project related to Health Equity and Parkinson’s Disease, working closely with Tufts Medical
Center, the Asian communities and the Michael J Fox Foundation.
