Our ambassadorship program empowers and mobilizes young adults passionate about public health to become champions for health equity in their communities.
Apply to gain hands-on, practical experience in developing culturally responsive resources and organizing your own outreach events that are strategically tailored to the unique needs and concerns of Asian-American communities! This upcoming Spring 2023 cohort will run for 10 weeks from March 24th to June 2nd where ambassadors will learn about the intersection of research, data, and vaccine equity with an added focus on how community advocates can work to address issues of hesitancy within the Asian-American community. spring 2023 applications will close on

lunar new year friendraiser

In January, we held partnered with Sitka Art Gallery to host a Friend-raiser that brought together key stakeholders from Asian American serving organizations and donors to celebrate the lunar new year. In honor of the year of the rabbit, Sitka generously held a silent auction of his one-of-a-kind rabbit painting with all proceeds going towards Asian Women for Health. December holiday social
Friday, December 15th
In December, we held a holiday social where our Communications and Partnerships Coordinator, Hilary Wong created some holiday mocktails to celebrate the end of the year. Highlighting the importance in supporting friends and family in their journey towards or experimenting with sobriety, we held a mocktail making demonstration where participants were able to learn first hand how to make cranberry mules for their own holiday parties!
