Asian Women for Health is partnering with the All of Us Research Program to make the next big medical breakthroughs!
We are proud to partner with the All of Us Research Program (AoU), a historic program from the National Institutes of Health. AoU is working toward ensuring that our community is included in research studies that may lead to better treatments and cures. In order to develop personalized plans for disease prevention and treatment, researchers want to learn about the differences that make us unique.
Diversity in a research program is important for several reasons. First, where we live, how we live, and our background can all affect our health. Second, many groups of people have been left out of research in the past. This means we know less about their health. By studying data from a diverse group of people, researchers can learn more about what makes people sick or keeps them healthy. What researchers learn could lead to better treatment and disease prevention for all of us.
