Asian Women for Health (AWFH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of Asian Women and people from diverse, underrepresented backgrounds through community engagement, education, and representation. We envision a world where Asian Women and underrepresented community members are well-informed, have access to care that is culturally appropriate and high quality, and inspired to live happy, healthy lives.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Over 80% of AANHPI adults say that taking care of senior loved ones is very important, a number which is even higher for Asian women. Nearly half of Asian adults have provided unpaid caregiving services for an aging family or friend.
Join us and Anise Health to review trends and insights about the experiences of providing care for the elderly. Anise Health and Dr. Nadine Chang, a clinical psychologist and Chair of the Asian Psychiatry Program Committee will review the common challenges, consequences, and culturally-responsive tips to support caregivers as they take care of the elderly. 🗓️ Save the date: April 26th, 2024, 1-2PM EST 📍Location: Online on Zoom 👥 Register: awfg.org/SeniorCare We hope to see you there! |
